Data Governance & Reporting Automation Consultant (Banking)

My client is a leading consulting firm in Asia supporting top-tier enterprise institutions on large-scale data and regulatory transformation initiatives. They are currently looking for a Data Governance & Reporting Automation Consultant to join a major enterprise program.

What You’ll Do

• Drive data governance initiatives including KDE identification, data lineage, EUC inventory, and process mapping

• Lead automation of regulatory reporting processes using Alteryx and related tools

• Replace manual Excel/Access workflows with scalable, system-driven solutions

• Redesign reporting processes in line with BCBS239 principles

• Partner with Finance, Risk, and IT teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Facilitate workshops and support stakeholder adoption

• Manage project deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder reporting

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in banking / financial services / consulting, with at least 3+ years in Management Consulting

• Strong background in data governance, regulatory reporting, or data management

• Hands-on experience with Alteryx (automation, workflow design) is highly preferred

• Good understanding of finance/risk reporting and BCBS239

• Experience working across business & IT stakeholders

• Strong communication, documentation, and project management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with data lineage tools (e.g., Collibra)

• Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)

• Background in process improvement / BPR initiatives
