Job Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the full spectrum of financial and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting for a few operational entities. * Prepare and review accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, SFRS). * Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making. * Manage and monitor cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity and efficient utilization of funds. * Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and facilitate smooth audits. * Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. * Participate in the preparation of board papers and management reports, providing insightful financial commentary. * Assist in the evaluation of new investment opportunities from a financial perspective. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes and systems. * Other ad-hoc scope as assigned ---
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline. * Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is highly preferred. * Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the real estate, asset management, or private equity sectors. * Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS/SFRS) and tax regulations. * Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. * Proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to mentor junior staff.
