Design component and assembly with CAD software. Prepare engineering drawings and engineering bill of material
Analyse, design, develop, maintain products and assist in their commercialization
Review technical documentation including engineering specifications, drawings, calculation packs, bill of materials, guidelines and repair procedures
Checking and approving drawings, information and documentation which meets engineering standards to enable the manufacturing group and other departments to produce and market product
Attend and initiate Design and Development Planning and Review session to meet customer's and industry's need
Salary: 3500-4800 SGD
Qualification and Experience:
Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Have experience (5 years) in mechanical engineering in Oil & Gas engineering or other related fields. At least 3 years of product design experience in Manufacturing/Oil & Gas industry
Have knowledge in API Standards and Monogram
AutoCAD and 3D design are the basic knowledge. Most preferably already familiar with ProE/Creo, Solidworks, CATIA, NX or similar CAD and FEA/CFD program
Display good oral and written communication and presentation skills in English

The main duties of the job will be to manage Engineering related function within the company. The engineering related function includes design and development, engineering specification and drawings, engineering compliance with customer and supplier specifications, generate MPQP (Manufacturing Process Qualification Plan), and leading all welding, fabrication and testing department’s engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development:
Lead the design and development of components, systems, and processes for oil & gas and energy sector applications.
Ensure engineering designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.
Provide technical guidance to optimize functionality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Work with production teams to optimize processes and troubleshoot engineering challenges.
Engineering Drawings & Documentation:
Oversee project engineering compliance from inquiry, document submission and manufacturing process
Oversee the creation, review, and approval of engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer requirements.
Maintain compliance with internal and external standards for technical documentation.
Review, analyze, and integrate supplier specifications and drawings into engineering processes.
Ensure customer specifications are met through detailed engineering analysis and compliance verification.
Serve as the technical point of contact for customer engineering requirements.
Manufacturing Process Qualification Plan (MPQP):
Develop and implement MPQP strategies to qualify manufacturing processes and ensure consistency in production.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to validate processes and materials.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure quality control measures are in place.
