DevOps Engineer - Urgent Role

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to help us enhance and maintain our cutting-edge trading platforms. This role is pivotal in deploying product updates, optimizing processes, and ensuring robust infrastructure to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Build, set up, and maintain development tools and infrastructure crucial for project success.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and frequent updates to our trading platform.
• Kubernetes Mastery: Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and environments to support scalable and reliable operations.
• Automation and Streamlining: Implement integrations and automation processes to streamline development and release cycles.
• Security Oversight: Ensure the integrity and security of systems to protect against cybersecurity threats.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with software developers and engineers to ensure best practices are followed and the developmental goals align with business objectives.
• Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Innovative Solutions: Develop applications for automated visualization and integration with internal backend systems.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in DevOps roles, preferably in financial services or a similarly demanding sector. Experience in trading system (MT4/MT5) is a plus.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with major cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), container orchestration (especially Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation tools (such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef).
• Software Development Skills: Proficiency in using Git and understanding of Git workflows. Experience with scripting and programming languages.
• Database Management: Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with database management practices.
• Soft Skills: Must be comfortable to liaise in both English and Chinese as some stakeholders are based in China & Taiwan.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Specialized Knowledge: Advanced skills in cloud services management, performance optimization in high-transaction environments, and experience in developing financial technology applications.
