Co-Development Business Unit is looking for DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is 12 months.

What will you do?

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary digital and technology team supporting the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and the National Council of Social Service (NCSS). The team designs, delivers, and operates secure, reliable, and scalable digital platforms to support policy, operations, and service delivery across Singapore’s social service sector.

The DevSecOps Engineer plays a key role in embedding security, automation, and operational best practices across the application lifecycle. You will work closely with application engineers, security teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational controls, ensuring systems meet government security and compliance requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Relevant education qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical fields
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, site reliability engineering, or cloud operations
• Cloud or security-related certifications (optional)
• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and cloud-native services
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and practices (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
• Understanding of application and infrastructure security, including access controls and logging
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and operational support
• Exposure to containerisation and orchestration technologies
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and automation workflows
