Position: Diagnostic Technician (European Automobile)
Salary: $2,600 - $3,000 + OT
Location: West
Working Hours / Days: 8.30am - 6.30pm (Mon - Fri) / 8.30am - 12.30pm (Alt Sat Off)
Responsibilities:
- Carries out independently complex diagnosis and repair work for electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pnuematic and mechanical vehicle systems
- Supports the service advisor with customer consultation to discuss identified failures or required repair work
- Supports and guides technicians and apprentices about technical modifications, innovation, measurements, test equipment and tools
- Supports the Workshop foreman in safeguarding work quality and cleanliness and tidiness in the workshop
- Submits suggestions for improvement to Service management in the areas of work, job performance, required equipment for the workplace, special tools and workshop equipment
Requirements:
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience working in Service Centers / Authorise Workshops servicing light automobile
- Minimum Nitec 2 in Automotive Technology or equivalent
- Good technical knowledge on electrical wiring and electrical components
- Team player with good discipline and positive attitude
- Able to work on weekends and commit to OT
- Possess a Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence
- Candidates with prior experience in handling Continental automobile or with High Voltage certification in a dealership setting will be a plus point
