Job Description - Digital Marketing Assistant - Hiring Immediately

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to oversee the digital presence and promotions of our company. This include managing our company's social media account, web site, email campaigns, text, and other digital-based marketing. 

The successful candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Responsibilities 

1. Strategic Planning and Implementation:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and stay updated with industry trends to identify new opportunities.

2. Content Creation and Optimization:

  • Create engaging and SEO-optimized content across various digital platforms, including blog posts, articles, videos, and infographics.
  • Ensure content resonates with target audience preferences and drives engagement.

3. Social Media Management and Engagement:

  • Manage and optimize social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, YouTube, etc., including content creation, scheduling, and running paid advertising campaigns.
  • Craft engaging posts tailored to each platform's audience and format, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Monitor engagement metrics, respond to comments, and foster meaningful connections with followers on each platform.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews across various platforms, addressing customer feedback promptly and professionally to maintain a positive brand reputation.

4. Website Optimization and Analytics:

  • Conduct keyword research, optimize website content for search engines, and analyze competitor data to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics to track website performance and provide actionable insights for optimization.

5. Digital Advertising and Campaign Management:

  • Create, manage, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across various media platforms to maximize ROI and reach target audiences effectively.
  • Conduct A/B testing for email campaigns, landing pages, and other digital assets to test different variables such as subject lines, ad copy, visuals, and CTAs, in order to refine strategies and drive optimal performance.
  • Analyze campaign metrics and performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, and use findings to inform future campaign optimizations and strategy adjustments.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Provide support for marketing projects, coordinate timelines, and communicate effectively with team members.

7. Email Marketing Campaigns:

  • Design and create compelling email templates that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Manage email databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulations such as GDPR.
  • Track email campaign metrics, including open rates and click-through rates, and analyze results to optimize future campaigns for maximum engagement and conversion.

8. Continuous Learning and Adaptation:

  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and make recommendations for integrating emerging trends into our marketing strategy.
  • Continuously learn and adapt strategies to stay ahead of the curve in the dynamic digital landscape.

9. Event Planning and Promotion:

  • Assist in planning and promoting events such as trade shows, webinars, or product launches through effective digital channels.

10. Administrative Support:

  • Assist the marketing team with general administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files.
  • Support coordination efforts for marketing projects, ensuring timelines are met and communication with team members is effective.
  • Maintain organization within the marketing department, facilitating smooth workflow and efficient operations.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant IT tools for digital marketing tasks.
  • Experience with database management, including the use of CRMs for efficient organization of customer data.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and produce high-quality web content.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking skills and sound judgement to analyze situations and make informed decisions in digital marketing strategies. 
  • Proficiency in WordPress functionality, allowing for efficient website management and content creation.

  • Expertise in the Google Suite of tools and G-Suite administration, providing the capability to leverage these tools for efficient collaboration, communication, and productivity within the marketing team.
