Director, AI Strategy & Architecture

Our client, a global technological company, is introducing a senior, highly visible position that blends deep technical expertise with strategic leadership and executive influence.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as a trusted advisor to C-level and senior technology leaders, helping them develop an enterprise strategy for agentic AI adoption they can confidently commit to.
2. Step into the company’s most strategic opportunities where the hurdle is complex strategic engagements involving technical validation, stakeholder alignment and deployment considerations.
3. Channel insights from the field into structured input that shapes the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
4. Raise the AI fluency of sales and presales teams through shared narratives, playbooks and objection handling.
5. Establish a credible industry perspective on emerging AI technologies through thought leadership, public speaking and engagement with industry analysts.
6. Speak credibly to how the platform fits within a customer’s wider technology landscape.

Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience in a senior technical customer-facing role, such as Field CTO, Chief Architect, Principal Solutions Architect or similar.
2. Deep knowledge of enterprise AI solutions, generative AI and agentic AI architectures.
3. A proven ability to build trust with C-level executives and influence complex enterprise deals.
4. Strong understanding of AI governance, safety and responsible deployment.
5. Experience working closely with product teams to shape roadmaps based on customer insight.
