We are partnering with a fast-scaling, APAC-focused Clinical Research Organisation to appoint a Head / Director - Business Development to drive regional and global growth strategy.

This is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, with full ownership of revenue generation, strategic partnerships, and market expansion across Asia-Pacific.

The Business Development Director will:

Lead and execute the APAC business development strategy
Own multi-million-dollar revenue targets and pipeline growth
Build and expand relationships with global pharma, biotech & medtech sponsors
Drive high-value deal pursuits (RFPs, proposals, negotiations)
Lead and scale a regional BD, marketing & proposals team
Establish strategic alliances across CROs, site networks & partners
Represent the organisation at global conferences and industry forums

The Ideal candidate will come with:

10-15+ years in CRO / clinical research business development
Proven track record of closing large, complex deals
Strong network with global sponsors (pharma, biotech, medtech)
Experience managing regional or global BD teams
Deep understanding of clinical development (Phase I-IV)
Strong exposure to Asia-Pacific markets
Strategic, commercial, and highly entrepreneurial mindset
