Job Description - Director Channel Sales, APAC



Our client is a global leader known for its expertise in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge digital and hardware solutions that elevate visibility and productivity for businesses. With a strong dedication to providing innovative technologies that empower organisations, we are collaborating with them to recruit for a Regional Channel Director, APAC.



 



Responsibilities



 



Reporting to the General Manager, APAC, we are seeking an exceptional leader and channel professional to directly manage the regional channel team in APAC. This position involves overseeing the regional channel team in APAC, where the appointed individual will take charge of the channel sales team and play a crucial role in facilitating the adoption of next-generation channel sales strategies for sustainable growth. The candidate is expected to construct a robust channel ecosystem, effectively communicate the company's value proposition, and strategically position the company as the preferred vendor of choice in the market.



 



Requirements



 



The ideal Regional Channel Director will possess a strong understanding of solution sales through the channel within the region, coupled with a proven track record in team management. We are seeking an individual with the knowledge and capability to onboard diverse partners, including Distributors, Resellers, System Integrators, Consulting organizations, ISVs, and Professional Services organizations, to drive the Channel Solutions strategy. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership by inspiring the sales team to develop advanced solution selling concepts, foster partnerships, and exhibit expertise in recurring revenue creation and long-term solution sales. Strong business acumen, coupled with effective channel management skills to monitor and evaluate channel health and performance, is a key requirement for this role. Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential, as the candidate will be required to engage with Chinese counterparts and stakeholders.
