Job Description - Director, Human Resources

Reporting to the CHRO, this newly created leadership position will play a key role in shaping and driving the organisation’s Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and Learning & Talent Management strategies within a large and complex professional services environment.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  1. Provide strategic leadership to the Talent Acquisition function, ensuring hiring strategies, processes, and workforce planning initiatives are aligned with the organisation’s business priorities
  2. Drive the development and enhancement of recruitment policies, systems, and processes to support efficient, consistent, and high-quality hiring outcomes
  3. Lead and provide thought leadership across Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Talent Management, and Succession Planning initiatives
  4. Drive organisational development and change management initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, employee experience, organisational effectiveness, and change readiness, while strengthening leadership pipelines and succession capabilities for key business-critical roles
  5. Partner closely with senior leadership teams to provide guidance on complex employee relations matters and develop progressive employee relations policies and practices that foster a positive, fair, and high-performing workplace culture

To be eligible for this role you will require:

  1. Degree qualified with at least 15 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated success leading large-scale organisational transformation initiatives, with strong expertise across Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and Learning & Talent Management
  2. Strong commercial acumen, leadership capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills
  3. Experience managing HR teams within large, complex, and matrixed organisations will be highly advantageous
  4. Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the agility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
