Director - IT Infrastructure

Senior leadership role with a large financial institution.

Responsible for overall leadership of large infrastructure team, your role will include developing and delivering end-to-end IT infrastructure services as well as managing strategic infrastructure change, architecture, and new infra programmes . You will be required to drives overall IT infra planning; ensures alignment with enterprise IT strategy and standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Overall Management of large infrastructure team for the region
• Relationship Management: Build strong effective partnerships with internal and external teams; Strong executive presence; able to influence and navigate complex and competing interest of multiple stakeholders.
• Strategy and Planning: Develop and manage strategic technology plans and roadmaps;
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to build and develop the long and mid-term strategic plans to enable business objectives;
• Drive process improvements and IT service optimization.
• Oversee Portfolio Management: Management of infrastructure investments, projects and activities within a IT portfolio Manage objectives, priorities, delivery and financials
• Looking into opportunities to automate systems and processes throughout our entire organization.
• Develop innovative solutions to business problems, adoption of new processes, services and technologies to meet the needs of the organization;
• Financial Management: Manages financial budgets: capital, expense and in servicing;
• Manages regulatory commitments as appropriate; Effectively prioritizes financial spend based on strategic company objectives;

Requirements

• Excellent Infrastructure leader with excellent leadership abilities, management skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Has a proven record of strategic planning, budgeting and resource management, change management, and in effecting productivity gains and process improvements;
• Prior experience in managing large infrastructure team of at least 30+members with regional or global presence.
• Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, IT operation, IT security; experience in balancing compliance and security requirements with user experience and productivity;
• Strategic Planning & Execution: 10+ years demonstrable experience in developing and executing strategic technology roadmaps, with a focus on
• Ability to define problems - Identifies problems; collects data, determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations;
• Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of high-performance team development.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional ability to build rapport with key stakeholders and leaders, advocating for the execution of the strategic roadmap and ensuring alignment with direction.
• Communicate effectively with internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions/strategies and continue to deepen client relationships;
• Communicate with the IT department of changes and news worthy events within the company and effectively communicate relevant IT-related information to C levels management
• Proven track record of maturing and automating IT systems and processes
• Singapore PR or Singaporean is highly preferred
