Director, Operational Risk- Global Markets

Reporting to the Head of Asia Governance Market risk, you will manage a team to drive and support the implementation of Operational Risk Management Framework in Global Markets. This will include providing risk and strategic advice, market risk and operational risk policy interpretation and training to the business, ensure drivers of operational risk capital calculations are understood and accurate, oversight of operational risk actual losses and internal compliance failures against policies and procedures are rectified. On the business side, you will work closely with CEOs and head of business units to provide professional risk assessment, initiating and leading process re-engineering projects, assisting on strategic initiatives, and new products while challenging the business on risk management effectiveness and suggesting risk remedial actions.

To be successful, individual must possess:

• A recognised degree in Business/ Banking/ Accountancy or any related discipline
• Proven ability to effectively manage operational risk within global markets
• A good understanding of business process across a number of products
• The ability to communicate the need for change with strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Experience working with senior management
