Job Description - Director, Product Payments

About Our Client

Our client is a well established payment services provider worldwide and leading global player.

Job Description

Own and execute the APAC product strategy, aligned to global platform direction and regional market needs
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and roadmap definition through delivery, launch, and optimization
Build and manage a team of Product Managers across regional and remote locations, fostering a high-performance, growth-oriented culture
Drive expansion and optimization of payout networks, including banks, wallets, cash, and alternative payment methods
Partners with engineering and platform teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and compliant payout solutions
Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to ensure regulatory alignment across diverse APAC markets
Use data, customer insights, and market analysis to prioritize initiatives and measure product success
Act as a senior product leader and advocate across the organization, influencing stakeholders at all levels

The Successful Applicant

7-10+ years of product management experience within financial services, payments, or fintech
5+ years of leadership experience, managing and developing senior product talent
Deep understanding of payments, remittances, payout networks, or money movement ecosystems
Proven experience owning regional or multi-market product strategies in complex regulatory environments
Strong background in agile product development, roadmap ownership, and stakeholder management
Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and near-term execution
Excellent communication skills and executive presence
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
Experience working across APAC markets is strongly preferred
Demonstrated success driving platform modernization, scalability, or network expansion
Comfortable operating in a matrixed, global organization
