Discipline Teacher

Location: Jurong or Lakeside
Period: 5 months
Working hour: 730am to 530pm Mon-Fri
Salary: up to $3200

• Assist Student Management team (SM team) in conducting preliminary investigations and fact-finding interviews
• Obtain student and witness statements where appropriate and compile evidence and prepare structured incident reports to relevant KPs for directions
• Closing the loop by communicating with parents, staff and students
• Walk around school and the vicinity of the school periodically to ensure discipline (for example, checking the stairwells, free-play areas, HDB Void deck etc)
• Station at canteen during recess/break times to manage students’s behaviour (for example, students who cut queue)
• Work with SM team to ensure that students report for detention
• Supervise detention sessions on Tue, Wed and Thu
• Engage students meaningfully during detention sessions
• Maintain attendance and behavioural records during the detention sessions
• Update and follow up with any detention defaulters
• Support SM team in managing students sent out of class and on internal suspension.
• Support learning continuity during suspension through liaising with Year Heads
• Manage school front counter services
• Handling visitors, parents, staff, students, and addressing their needs
• Handling queries and complaints via phone
• Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff
• Transferring calls as necessary
• Provide general administrative support to the admin office
• Data entry and any other duties assigned by the school
