Docking & Cables Supervisor

Our client is looking for a dedicated Docking & Cables Supervisor to lead a critical segment of their assembly production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety compliance through regular audits and team training
• Lead and motivate a team of assemblers by providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities
• Prepare weekly plans for the team and uphold company policies, while being accountable for team performance
• Take ownership of key performance indicators including Safety, First Pass Yield (FPY), and On-Time Delivery (OTD)
• Implement quality control procedures and address production issues promptly
• Identify and execute process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
• Analyse problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Manage time effectively and ensure team meets deadlines
• Oversee daily production operations to ensure schedule and quality targets are achieved
• Optimize workflow and lead staff training to foster a positive work environment
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality metrics
• Prepare and present regular production performance reports to management

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Highly motivated with strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Familiarity with production management systems such as ERP and MES
• Skilled in root cause analysis methodologies
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
