Documentation/logistics senior officer with Chemical Trading MNC (based in town)

• Has 2-5 years working experience in preparing import/export shipping documents especially documentation work based on L/C.
• Experience in logistics related operation is an advantage but not a must
• Hands-on with a stable cv

Our client is an international chemical trading and investment MNC backed by a blue-chip parent co which is stable and established. It is based in town (right next to a MRT station).  This MNC offers flexi work arrangements (some WFH days is allowed).

For ths role,  key responsibilities:

• provide clerical support to marketing staff by preparing Sales and Purchase contracts, full set of import/export shipping documents based on L/C, Certificate of Origin, Customs/Insurance declaration, Monthly delivery/sales reports, issue payment vouchers, etc.
• Correspond and arrange with suppliers, overseas offices, customers and forwarding agents to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery. Some knowledge of logistics will be necessary to understand the global trade shipping arrangement etc.
• Administrative support for marketing staff and guests, help to arrange air ticket reservations, book hotel accommodation. 

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level/Diploma qualified. 
• Has 2-5 years working experience in preparing import/export shipping documents especially documentation work based on L/C.
• Experience in logistics related operation is an advantage but not a must
• Able to work well as a team member
• Must be computer literate and able to use MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.

Selling pts:

• -this MNC also allows WFH arrangement (around 2 to 3 days per week after probation). 
• -also allows for flexi time work arrangement in a day (e.g  to start earlier/ later and end earlier/ later accordingly).
