Drafter

Job Descriptions:

• Develop and maintain CAD Drawings.
• Develop dimensional drawings for layouts and non-dimensional drawings.
• Revise drawings based on instructions/ comments from Project teams.
• Prepare detailed as-built/shop drawings for submission and interior fit-out works/construction.
• Communicate effectively and work closely with team members of individual's project assignment.
• Ensure the drawings comply with specifications and company standards.
• Develop computer generated drawings, isometrics, details, plans, schedules and data sheets.
• Understand the project scope and requirements in the preparation of detailed shop drawings ensuring that the drawings are easily understood by the Project team.
• To plan and work closely with team members, Project and Production teams to ensure timely delivery and completion of projects.
• Perform other related work duties as assigned by Reporting Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Certificate in AutoCAD drawing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of drafting experience, preferably in custom furniture, millwork, carpentry, or interior fit-out.
• Proficient in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Photoshop, SketchUp or 3D Max is an advantage.
• Good understanding of shop drawings, construction details, and manufacturing processes.
• Able to read architectural and interior design drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
