Job Description - DRIVER MANAGER

Monitoring driver performance by conducting regular audits to ensure that drivers are following company policies and procedures
Reviewing new driver applications to determine if they meet qualifications for employment
Communicating with other departments within the company to arrange for repairs or maintenance of vehicles when needed
Scheduling shifts for drivers based on their availability, using a computerized scheduling system
Interviewing and hiring new drivers as needed to replace those who leave the company
Overseeing the training of new drivers to ensure that they are prepared to work safely and efficiently
Making sure that all maintenance on company vehicles is performed in a timely manner by authorized personnel
Conducting regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are safe to drive and in good working condition
Reviewing driver performance to determine if any corrective action is needed
