Requirements

• Transporting employees in a company vehicle from designated pick-up point(s) and dropping staff off at assigned buildings.  
• Monitor employees for any health conditions upon entering the van. 
• Ensure that all passengers are properly seated and wearing seatbelts (MANDATORY). 
• Be responsible for checking building keys out and in. Assist the manager in scheduling employees for each shift. 
• Transport and pick up employees from assigned buildings. 
• Monitor and check work during and upon completion to ensure proper work and safety methods comply with contract specifications. 
• Retrain and rework employees when necessary. 
• This position does not have hiring or firing authority.
• Operate company vehicles in the performance of the job. 
• Check vehicles for needed maintenance i.e. tires, wipers blades, oil, vehicle fluids, minor maintenance, and cleaning of vehicles are the responsibility of the assigned driver. 
• Notify maintenance when vehicles or equipment require repairs or maintenance.
• Review safety policies, proper mixing of chemicals, and any new products introduced. Be conscious of all MSDS and the location of each book; perform various duties such as light cleaning and laundry. 
• Other tasks may be assigned as the workload changes for the shift. 

Mathematics Ability

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Employment Requirements: A background check, drug screen, and criminal background check will be required for access to a military facility. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, from 12:30 pm through 11:30 pm. Hours may vary slightly based on schedule requirements; however, PDI will give as much notice as possible. For other shift(s), please list your availability. This position may offer increased hours in the future, depending on your preference.

Work Environment

The Driver Lead or QA employee works primarily in a transit capacity along with custodial duties; however, occasional work from home is warranted. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can become loud and hectic.

While performing the duties of this job, the Driver Lead &/or QA employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with arms. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and taste or smell.
