Develop and implement safety measures and policies in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
Regularly review and update safety protocols to ensure they are in line with current regulations and best practices.
Lead the Environmental Control Committee Meetings to discuss and implement environmental control programs.
Oversee the development and implementation of environmental policies and procedures to ensure they meet legislative requirements and best practices.
Ensure that all operations and activities at the site are compliant with relevant and latest Workplace Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
Prepare and review Risk Assessments in collaboration with the project management team to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
Develop and implement an Environmental Control Plan, outlining strategies and practices to minimize environmental impact from operations.
Job Requirements:
Hold a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and/or a Bachelor's Degree in a WSH-related field, along with a certification as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO).
Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience suitable for the responsibilities of a WSH Officer cum ECO.
