The Job

• Performing all editorial activities leading to publication.
• Ensuring the content and writing is accurate and appropriate for the readership.
• Correcting spelling mistakes and grammatical errors and so on.
• Editing manuscripts and proofreading.
• Creating artwork briefs to detail the content of illustrations and photographs.
• Producing or working with a style guide to ensure consistency in hyphenation, capitalisation, formatting, etc.
• Coordinating with internal teams, writers, photographers, designers, etc.
• Monitor timelines for different phases of publishing projects.
• Research under tight deadlines.
• Undertaking other administrative and editorial tasks as required.

The Requirements

• Degree in English, Chinese and related fields.
• A high standard of written and spoken English, Chinese.
• Enthusiastic, possess interpersonal skills, self-motivated and flexible.
• Meticulous, organised, responsible and proactive.
• Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and maintain a professional standard of work.
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.

• Salary commensurate with relevant work experience
