Job Summary
Home-Based Childminders provide safe, attentive, and age-appropriate infant care from their approved registered home address under the EduNanny® programme. This role supports infants aged 2 to 18 months by ensuring their safety, comfort, hygiene, feeding routines, rest, and developmental well-being within a nurturing home-based environment. This is a hands-on infant care role. Childminders are expected to uphold strong standards of safety, professionalism, patience, communication, and safeguarding at all times.
Responsibilities
Provide safe, attentive, and age-appropriate care for infants aged 2 to 18 months
Supervise infants continuously to prevent unattended situations
Support daily infant care routines including feeding, diaper changing, toileting assistance, dressing, napping, and safe sleep practices
Prepare and manage milk feeding, weaning support, and basic infant routines according to parent and programme instructions
Maintain a clean, safe, hygienic, and infant-friendly home care environment
Monitor infants’ comfort, mood, health, and general well-being during childminding hours
Communicate clearly and respectfully with parents or guardians about infants’ daily routines, updates, and any concerns
Record and report incidents, injuries, unusual observations, or safety concerns promptly to EduNanny® operations
Follow EduNanny® training, safeguarding requirements, policies, procedures, and operational instructions
Ensure household members or other persons do not assume infant care duties unless approved under programme requirements
