Electrical Operations Supervisor (Marine) - Hiring Urgently

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee daily supervision of projects involving vessel conversion and repairs.
• Effective completion of assigned tasks to meet customer specifications.
• Optimize manpower and material resources within the department.
• Coordinate with other departments to manage daily production schedules.
• Support in forecasting departmental manpower needs.
• Plan and allocate weekly manpower for projects and subcontractor assignments.
• Acquire and monitor technical documentation and drawings.
• Participate in project progress meetings and Health and Safety Assessment Tool meetings. 
• Evaluate the performance of staff under supervision and determine training requirements for team members.
• Monitor project progress and man-hours.
• Evaluate departmental work processes and explore opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with owners' representatives, class surveyors during inspections and other trades to address work requirements. 
• Conduct risk assessments, safety observations, and hazard reporting.

Requirements: 

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering 
• With 2 years of Electrical Operations experience in the Marine Industry. 
• Knowledge of ship electrical systems, control systems, and HVAC. 
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. 
• Experience managing workers and subcontractors, with flexibility to work weekends and outdoors.
