Create and prepare SMT placement programs based on CAD data / machine data available. Coordinate with suppliers in fabricating of solder paste stencil making and testing. SMT machines process improvement such as optimizing or balance the loading of each SMT machine placement. Conduct trouble shooting / repair / maintenance and improvement. Fabrication of jigs and fixtures for SMT production.

Responsibilities:

• Programming of all SMT devices mounting data XY co-ordinates.
• Request for CAD data, Gerber data, merge date & etc. and prepare the metal mask stencil.
• Prepare loading list and layout list.
• Optimizing / balance the loading of each SMT machine placement to reduce machine placement loss time.
• Troubleshooting of SMT machines.
• Plan and conduct periodic preventive maintenance of all SMT equipment and machines.
• Conduct process improvement base of New Production System (NYPS) concepts, on Quality, in-time delivery to the next process and at a competitive cost.
• Participate in companywide improvement programs, such as small group activities (QC Circle) and Production enhancement through New Production System (NYPS).
• Ensure all work standard performance based on Organization accreditation requirement. ISO9001 QMS, ISO14001 EMS, AS9100 Aerospace Management System (ASM) and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
• Provides timely support to SMT line and ensure problems are solved.
• Recommend improvement to SMT line and machines for quality output and better yield.
• Provide proper training to operators on machine operation and new procedures adapted.
• Evaluate and check with vendors on SMT jigs, cassettes, equipment, materials & etc.
• Ensure proper programming of data for SMT machines.
• Optimize the SMT Machine placement to achieve the highest output.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent.
• Prefer 1-2 years of relevant experience in SMT Machine.
• Able to travel to Batam plant when necessary.
