Job Description - EMPLOYMENT AGENT

Job Summary

The Employment Agent is responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment services in compliance with Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations. This role involves sourcing and placing suitable candidates, managing employer and worker relationships, handling documentation, and ensuring ethical recruitment practices in accordance with the Employment Agencies Act and MOM guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment activities in compliance with MOM regulations

  • Source, screen, interview, and assess local and/or foreign candidates

  • Match candidates to suitable job vacancies based on client requirements

  • Advise employers on manpower needs, work pass eligibility, and hiring processes

  • Prepare and submit MOM-related documentation (e.g. work pass applications, renewals, cancellations)

  • Ensure accurate and complete employment contracts and placement records

  • Brief candidates on job scope, employment terms, and regulatory obligations

  • Coordinate interviews, job offers, onboarding, and post-placement follow-ups

  • Maintain proper records as required under the Employment Agencies Act

  • Handle candidate and employer enquiries professionally and ethically

  • Meet recruitment targets while upholding fair and responsible hiring practices

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline preferred

  • Relevant experience in a Singapore MOM-licensed employment agency is an advantage

  • Good understanding of MOM regulations, Employment Agencies Act, and work pass processes

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to assess candidate suitability and manage multiple job orders

  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and compliance skills

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruitment systems
