Job Description & Requirements

Assist the Project HOD to oversee the operations of the Maintenance of Vehicles/Equipment and Vessels contract, managing it effectively to ensure operational efficiencies and profitability.

Job Scope

1. Conduct daily toolbox briefing. Plan and delegate the daily maintenance activities to the maintenance team.

2. Ensure all jobs done are properly open in job cards.

3. Carry out LTA/AVP/Load test inspections for all vehicles/equipment as per schedule in contract including Company vehicles/equipment.

4. Carry out Lloyd inspections for customer vessels as per schedule.

5. Carry out inspection and maintenance of workshop facility and all Indeco’s assets for this project.

6. Assist in preparation of information as required for all O&A sales/RFQ jobs.

7. Ensure efficient and smooth operations of the whole department.

8. Ensure budget set for the department is achieved based on managing defects of vehicles/equipment and vessel, including OT for technicians.

9. Assist in the sourcing of O&A sales (modification, improvement works etc.)

10. Manage and control work processes and procedures based on Company QP and certification (E.g. ISO 14001 & bizSAFE)

11. Ensure Key Performance Indicators set by customers are achieved according to the Maintenance contract.

12. Ensure sufficient inventories to support operations and conduct periodic stock checks for replenishment as required.

13. Ensure all ops documentation in place for audit purpose.

14. Improvise and review PM servicing checklist for vehicles.

Requirements

1) Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical).

2) Minimum 3 years of working experience in management of a team/vehicle workshop or Automotive trade/heavy equipment or equivalent.

3) Proficient in Microsoft Office.
