ID:\n\nJR94493 Engineer - FACILITIES Ultra-Pure Water \u0026 Wastewater\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\n## Job Description\n\n * Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Local Scrubber Recycling system (LSR) and other water treatment systems to maintain maximum equipment uptime and reliability.\n\n * Coordinate and liaise with contractors/vendors to implement corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) programs.\n\n * Study, plan and execute engineering projects and engineering solutions including upgrades, retrofits, system expansion and maintenance.\n\n * Support and enforce safety compliance and government regulations.\n\n * Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise improvement/upgrading/new projects for relevant water systems.\n\n * Propose, plan and execute water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption whenever possible in meeting the Long-term Sustainability goal.\n\n * Plan, design and lead Control Automation engineering projects includes new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement.\n\n * Attain environmental sustainability roadmap through green initiative. Improve water and waste recyclability rate by embarking to new technology breakthrough.\n\n * Identification, evaluation, and potential implementation of advanced technology on Water systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align to Micron Environment Sustainability efforts.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications for Facilities Engineer:\n\n * Possess a bachelor\u0027s in chemical engineering\n\n * Minimum 3 years of working experience in Water Treatment System or Wastewater Treatment plant\n\n * Have project or commissioning experience in water systems is an added advantage.\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nFacilities Engineer 2\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
