ID:\n\nJR93403 Engineer, Global Facilities Central Engineering - BIM\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\n * Work with partners in the development of BIM Execution Plan and ensure Micron standards are incorporated.\n * Ensure BIM standards, process, etc, as defined in BIM Execution Plan are executed, maintained and updated throughout project lifecycle.\n * Manage and maintain model organization and folder structure within the Common Data Environment(CDE) as defined in BEP/Micron standards.\n * Supervise and assist with maintenance of project models; conduct quality control/health checks on federated models and associated trade models to ensure completeness, accuracy and adherence to the project\u2019s BIM Execution Plan throughout the project lifecycle.\n * Manage and assist model setup and maintenance by partners.\n * Participate in BIM coordination meetings to assist coordination and resolution of model issues and clashes.\n * Prioritise coordination efforts base on construction plans and changed conditions.\n * Generate clash numbers to monitor clash resolution progress and clash reports.\n * Ensure contractors use coordinated BIM models to prepare work sequence with subcons.\n * Assist pre-construction teams with constructability reviews.\n * Facilitate contractors to arrange review sessions of the coordinated BIM models with Micron operations team for space management inputs.\n * Perform regular QA/QC field walks to ensure field installations match coordinated models.\n * Ensure shop drawings are done base on coordinated 3D models to minimise and avoid reworks.\n * Ensure partners utilized BIM models for design change analysis and approval prior to shop drawing production and construction.\n * Assist in maintaining drawings done within Revit.\n * Assist and lead any 3D scanning/reality capture initiatives.\n * Ensure models are updated to as-constructed and as-built conditions using reality capture solutions for accuracy.\n * Ensure data required for facility management are entered and maintain throughout construction.\n * Assist site personnel in navigating the models and retrieving data and information from BIM models.\n * Assist in providing existing information from BIM models for future expansion projects.\n * Point of contact for all BIM related matters for both internal and external partners.\n * Work with the project team with project workflow to establish and maintain consistent graphic standards on individual assigned projects. This includes the interdisciplinary consistency between all MEP services.\n * Ensure accuracy of as-constructed/as-built basebuild design for next in line users (eg, tool install team) to be able to start design work early without having to perform multiple field verifications.\n * Require to perform BIM modelling and data updates during operations in maintaining the digital twin accuracy to site conditions.\n * Perform periodic audits to maintain up-to-date information with the digital twin throughout the facility\u2019s lifecycle.\n * Provide training to team members on the use of BIM platforms and BIM related software.\n * Site representative to support global assignments.\n\n\n\nJob Requirements\n\n * Tertiary education in Engineering related to AEC industry (Architectural, Engineering, Construction).\n * Passion for BIM and its\u2019 uses beyond design and construction.\n * Minimum 3 years BIM experience working in large scale manufacturing industry projects.\n * Semiconductor project experiences a plus.\n * Familiar, good knowledge and experience in reality capture or Scan to BIM technologies.\n * Familiar with BIM Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.\n * Good understanding of BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, Tekla, Archicad, Sketchup, etc.)\n * Have desires to learn and adopt AI ideas for BIM. \n * Able to work independently.\n * Knowledge of dynamo, python, C# a plus but not essential.\n * International travel may be required.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nConstruction \u0026 Design E3 - Construction \u0026 Design E4\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
