Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.\n\n# Engineer Package\u2013Silicon Integration\n\n# \n\nAs an Engineer, Package\u2013Silicon Integration in Micron\u2019s Package Development Engineering (PDE) organization, you will begin your career as a technical contributor supporting NAND package and silicon integration for next\u2011generation memory products.\n\nIn this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers across silicon design, wafer fabrication, package design, and assembly teams to learn Micron\u2019s technology development processes, contribute to defined engineering tasks, and support execution of package\u2013silicon integration activities. You will operate with close guidance and mentoring, building foundational technical skills while contributing to team objectives.\n\nThis position is designed for early\u2011career engineers and provides structured exposure to semiconductor packaging, integration risks, and cross\u2011functional collaboration within a high\u2011volume manufacturing environment.\n\n## Key Responsibilities\n\n * Support chip\u2011package interaction (CPI) assessments by collecting data, performing basic analysis, and documenting results under guidance from senior engineers.\n * Assist package design, scribe design, and assembly engineers in investigating wafer dicing, singulation, and integration topics.\n * Participate in DFMEA / PFMEA activities by helping prepare inputs, reviewing risk items, and tracking action items.\n * Work with wafer fab, R\u0026D, and manufacturing teams to support yield, quality, and manufacturability issue investigations.\n * Support execution of test vehicles and DOEs, including data collection, basic analysis, and report preparation.\n * Learn Micron\u2019s package and silicon development flows, design rules, and change\u2011management processes.\n * Prepare technical documentation and presentation materials for design reviews, project updates, and knowledge sharing.\n * Escalate technical issues and risks promptly and seek guidance when encountering unfamiliar problems.\n\n\n\n## \n\n## Required Qualifications\n\n### Education \u0026 Experience\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Engineering \n(Mechanical, Materials Science, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline).\n * \u003c 2 years of relevant experience, including internships, co\u2011op programs, or research experience in semiconductor, materials, or manufacturing fields.\n\n\n\n### \n\n### Technical \u0026 Professional Skills\n\n * Fundamental understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and/or packaging concepts (coursework or internship level).\n * Exposure to structured problem\u2011solving methods (FMEA, DOE, data analysis) through academics or internships.\n * Ability to follow defined engineering procedures, analyze straightforward technical problems, and learn from feedback.\n * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies.\n * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and documentation.\n * Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.\n\n\n\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\n\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
