We are committed to sustainability, employee well-being, and community support, and we foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement. \n\nJob Summary\n\nMain Responsibilities:\n\n * Identify, diagnose and resolve process and equipment related problems \n\n\n * Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation / optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step \n\n\n * Lead / Support the New Equipment Qualification to support new technology development and production ramp. \n\n\n * Lead / participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities \n\n\n * Validate and fan out new process baseline qualified, including new process, tools and/or materials for new product introduction \n\n\n * Support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC \n\n\n * Manage / audit material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives \n\n\n * Support internal and external audits \n\n\n * Defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products. Involvement may begin at any step from pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing. Participate in design requirement review with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility with processing methods. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. \n\n\n\nOther Responsibilities\n\n * Data Management and Analysis \n\n\n * Manage and maintain MES-related databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity \n\n\n * Analyze system data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement \n\n\n * Preferred Technical Skills \nKnowledge of statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and root cause analysis (RCA) \n\n\n * Knowledge Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis (RCA) \n\n\n * Knowledge of AI tools and application \n\n\n\nMust Have Soft Skills \n\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset \n\n\n * Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams \n\n\n * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment \nAdaptability and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing setting \n\n\n\n\nPreferred skills or experience \n\n * Experience in or knowledge on semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies \n\n\n * Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and automation tools \n\n\n * Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) \n\n\n\nJob Requirements, Qualifications/Experience: \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required\n\n\n * Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills \n\n\n * Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels \n\n\n * Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning \n\n\n * Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus \n\n\n * Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable \n\n\n * Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred \n\n\n * Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiment, Engineering Statistical data analysis would be advantageous. \n\n\n * Embody Micron\u2019s core values: \n * People \u2013 Respect, develop, and empower others \n * Innovation \u2013 Drive continuous improvement and breakthrough thinking \n * Tenacity \u2013 Show grit and determination \n * Collaboration \u2013 Build trust and foster teamwork \n * Customer Focus \u2013 Deliver excellence and value \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\nMicron is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
