Engineer / Technician (Semicon)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform workshop repair, refurbishment, and testing of equipment and components.
• Carry out field support such as, warranty support, troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and preventive (periodic) maintenance activities at customer sites.
• Execute equipment move-in, installation, and commissioning activities in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.
• Verify, tally, and inspect the condition and completeness of equipment, parts, accessories, and tools before and after service activities.
• Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades, system integration, testing, and other technical activities as assigned.
• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely service delivery.
• Attend technical training programs as required and continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills.
• Travel domestically and internationally for technical training, equipment installation, service support.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company that are commensurate with the role.

Requirements

• Minimum Certificate: ITE, Diploma or degree in Electronic / Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in equipment servicing, maintenance, or semiconductor manufacturing equipment is an advantage.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers, provide technical support, and troubleshoot equipment issues based on customer feedback.
• Willing and able to work in a cleanroom environment and comply with all cleanroom protocols and safety requirements.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas for training and customer support when required.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates who are available to commence work immediately will be preferred.
