Engineering Assistant

Our client is seeking a motivated Engineering Assistant to support their production and engineering teams in ensuring smooth manufacturing processes and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect data on first-pass yield, production line issues, and rejected items
• Measure and monitor cycle time of operators to ensure productivity
• Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assist the production team with troubleshooting and rework activities on the production line
• Support the production engineer in implementing and tracking Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
• Participate in the implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Coordinate with other departments when required as part of routine operations
• Follow approved processes and procedures under the guidance of the Engineer

Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Willingness to learn and ability to pick up new skills quickly
• Strong communication skills and a good team player
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Proficient in MS Office and good at documentation
• Willing to commit to overtime as needed
