Engineering Associate (CNC/ Roll Grinding / Tooling)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily Roll Grinding tooling refurbishment cycle.
• Set up and operate roll grinding machine for different tooling refurbishment cycle.
• Dismantling, set up and arrange tooling prior or after refurbishment cycle.
• Perform Pre and Post-grinding tooling cleaning prior or after refurbishment cycle.
• Perform post-tooling inspection prior to delivery to end customer.
• Liaise with respective team members and supervisor to ensure continuous and uninterrupted tooling delivery for end customers.
• Practice and execute right and safe work ethic according to Roll Grinding Work Instruction.
• Lead Staff Technicians in daily Roll Grinding tooling activities.
• Proficient in using different measuring equipment.
• Upholding & execution of 5'S methodologies.
• Proficiency in updating Roll Grinding "LPMS" structure.
• Execute "MultiPoint" tooling Eccentricity measurement and recording.

Requirements:

• NTC/ITC Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in CNC
• Ability to use analytical skills, “hands-on” person and able to work with heavy machinery
• Ability to work rotating shift and perform overtime on weekdays & weekends.
• Good interpersonal skills, proactive and works well with others.
• Systematic approach to problem solving and decision making
• Proficient in using different measuring equipments.
