Our technology starts with you.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n1\\. Equipment Ownership \u0026 Performance\n\n * Act as equipment owner for a defined set of CMP tools \n * Monitor OEE and uptime, define and drive actions to improve them.\n * Analyze equipment alarms, and chronic issues; implement robust corrective and preventive actions.\n\n\n\n2\\. Maintenance \u0026 Troubleshooting\n\n * Define and optimize PM (Preventive Maintenance) plans and spare parts strategy.\n * Support technicians in complex troubleshooting: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, robotics and software.\n * Escalate and coordinate with equipment vendors (remote and on-site) for advanced technical support.\n\n\n\n3\\. New Equipment Introduction \u0026 Upgrades\n\n * Participate in specification, selection, installation and qualification of new CMP tools.\n * Lead or support process and equipment release to production, including capability and stability checks.\n * Manage equipment upgrades, retrofits, and obsolescence mitigation projects.\n\n\n\n4\\. Process \u0026 Quality Support\n\n * Work with process engineers to ensure that equipment performance meets process requirements \n * Support yield, quality, and reliability investigations from an equipment perspective\n * Ensure equipment operation complies with quality systems (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 9001, automotive standards where applicable).\n\n\n\n5\\. Continuous Improvement \u0026 Industrial Efficiency\n\n * Analyze data and KPIs; identify bottlenecks and chronic losses.\n * Lead or participate in Lean/Six sigma/SMED activities for cycle time, cost, energy, and throughput improvements.\n * Drive standardization of settings, PM procedures, troubleshooting guides, and documentation.\n\n\n\n6\\. Safety, Environment \u0026 Compliance\n\n * Ensure strict adherence to EHS rules (chemicals,slurry, gases, high voltage, vacuum, cleanroom, LOTO).\n * Participate in risk assessments, FMEA, and implementation of safety interlocks and procedures.\n * Maintain compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements (e.g. waste handling, emissions).\n\n\n\n7\\. Documentation, Training \u0026 Knowledge Management\n\n * Create and maintain equipment documentation: procedures, checklists, work instructions, recovery plans.\n * Train and coach maintenance technicians on equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.\n * Contribute to knowledge base and share best practices across shifts and sites.\n\n\n\nJob Requirements:\n\n * A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical \u0026 Electronics Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.\n * Min 2 years of relevant work experience in Semiconductor industry, familiar with CMP Equipment (AMAT MirraMesa, Ebara F-REX200, etc.).\n * An excellent team player with good interpersonal, communication and written skills.\n * Able to adapt in a fast paced environment and work under pressure.\n * Strong logical thinking and analytical skills.\n * Strong ownership, a commitment and flexibility to support operational priorities \n\n\n\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
