Our technology starts with you.\n\nJob Summary \nAs an Ion Implant Equipment Engineer, you will play a key role in driving quality improvements and enhancing equipment reliability. You will work closely with fellow engineers to identify and resolve complex equipment-related issues, optimize processes, and implement sustainable improvements.\n\nYour Role\n\n * Identify and resolve equipment-related issues that impact quality and reliability\n * Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) to determine the causes of equipment failures\n * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures\n * Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement\n * Assist with or lead the testing, qualification, and implementation of new projects and modifications\n * Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning, execution, and tracking\n\n\n\nYour Skills and Experience\n\n * Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field\n * 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply\n * Strong academic record with a keen interest in equipment engineering and quality improvement projects\n * Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment is an advantage\n * Strong communication and teamwork skills\n * Able to read schematics and interpret electrical/electronic components; a basic understanding of vacuum systems is an added advantage\n * Keen on working with tools and performing hardware troubleshooting\n * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills\n * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of PLCs and programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python is a plus\n\n\n\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
