Equity Analyst, Korea coverage, Global Fund Management

We are partnering with a leading global asset management firm to hire a VP-level Equity Analyst focused on Korea equities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded platform known for its deep fundamental research and long-term investing approach.

You will take ownership of a dedicated coverage universe of Korean-listed companies and play a key role in supporting investment decisions through high-quality research and insights.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining in-depth coverage on a portfolio of stocks
• Conducting fundamental analysis using company engagement, industry checks, and external research sources
• Developing investment recommendations and maintaining ongoing views on assigned names
• Producing detailed research reports and communicating insights to Portfolio Managers
• Supporting investment discussions through meetings, presentations, and idea generation
• Monitoring sectors and providing periodic industry updates
• Managing a model portfolio of covered names

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of relevant experience within asset management, hedge funds, or sell-side research
• Proven track record covering Korea equities
• Strong financial modelling and fundamental analysis capabilities
• Ability to form independent, high-conviction investment views
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in both Korean and English is essential
• Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and passionate about investing
• Comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative investment team
