Job Responsibilities
- Manage the sales and booking of events including dealing with enquiries, meeting clients, conduct site visits and follow up with potential clients.
- Meet with clients to understand their vision for their event; discuss and plan the scope of the event, including the time, location, and cost.
- Work with Marketing to develop marketing strategies, including the development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns to drive event sales.
- Create contracts, quotations, proposals and event floor plans.
- Maintain effective communication and work closely with clients, service and kitchen operations teams, other internal departments, external vendors and contractors to ensure smooth operations for every event, including but not limited to the coordination of timeline, manpower, appropriate licenses, logistics, technical & housekeeping issues.
- Deal with any difficulties that occur before, during, and after the event, making sure things run smoothly.
- Be visible to clients during events and handle feedback and complaints from guests to ensure they are resolved promptly.
- Prepare and present reports detailing event metrics, financials, and client feedback post-event as well as market trends.
- Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year’ experience in Hospitality, F&B or Events / Wedding coordination industry
- Target driven with a proven sales ability
- Possess strong interpersonal skill, result-oriented, ability to multi-task with strong planning and organizational skills
- Works well under pressure especially with time constraints and dealing with unplanned circumstances during events
- Able to multi-task and thrive within a fast-paced and highly challenging environment
- Strong team player and a problem solver
- Proficient in English, written and communication
- Proficient in MS Office
- Able to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and PH
