Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events & Partnership Manager to spearhead our efforts in growing strategic partnerships and support the organisation of events. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of growing partnership ecosystems, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, driving collaborative initiatives, and organising successful events. As the Events & Partnership Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving lead generation and spearhead the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
Note: This role will be divided evenly, with 50% of your time dedicated to partnership management and the remaining 50% focused on event coordination. This is a quota-carrying, and individual contributor role that reports to the Marketing Manager.
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate new strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, including accounting partners, associations, and digitalisation/technology partners that will generate revenue for Doxa. Collaborate closely with partners to leverage resources and maximize mutual benefits.
- Partners Management: Take charge of lead generation efforts stemming from partnerships, ensuring a steady influx of potential leads. Cultivate strong relationships with partners to maintain Doxa's top-of-mind presence.
- Event Management: Conceptualise, plan, and execute events. This includes conferences, exhibitions, workshops, networking sessions, webinars, and other relevant gatherings.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and partnerships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align strategies, communicate customer feedback, and ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
- Routine Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports detailing partnership progress, and key metrics. Utilize insights from these reports to refine strategies, optimize outcomes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Market Insights: Gather insights from partners to provide valuable input into product development and innovation. Contribute to the refinement of our SaaS offerings based on partner feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Possess high energy, grit and a team player.
- Proven track record of at least 4 years in partnership development and/or event management in a software company.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS industry, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses strong conflict resolution capability.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop new partnerships and grow current ones.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using CRM systems
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated history of achieving targets and objectives.
- Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
- Previous Start-up experience would be advantageous.
- Construction, Procurement or Financial experience would be advantageous
