Job Overview
The Financial Executive will work closely with the finance HQ team and Business Units to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis, providing essential insights to support Business units in achieving their targets. Responsible for regularly analysing business performance, this role also involves collecting and submitting all accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and handling various finance functions within the department in accordance with organisation policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAPB1.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis and Reporting
• Regularly analyse and provide timely and accurate business performance metrics.
•Assist the business team with data-driven recommendations for improving financial performance to support strategic business planning
• Prepare and present financial reports to management
• Develop financial forecasts and models to predict future performance
Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Collect and submit all accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
• Resolve discrepancies, customer aging and ensure accurate financial records.
Budgeting & Expense Monitoring
-Develop and maintain annual operating budgets
-Monitor and track income and expenditure
-Work with department heads to control spending including suggesting cost-saving measures or revising budgets as needed.
Compliance and Policy Adherence
-Ensure all financial activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Finance Executive, Financial Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in SAPB1 and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• Experience in a multi-business unit environment.
