Position: Business Development Executive
Location: Clementi
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

Summary:
The Business Development Executive plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and managing key accounts within the logistics sector. This role involves conducting market research, nurturing client relationships, and meeting sales targets for both broad-based and niche logistics services. Additionally, the Executive will analyze customer requirements, propose solutions, and oversee project implementation to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Business Development Operations:

• Analyze market needs and opportunities within assigned verticals
• Identify prevalent trends and dynamics through customer engagement and market analysis

Business Admin Operations:

• Perform basic risk assessments and adhere to operational policies and procedures
• Effectively communicate requirements and activities to stakeholders
• Support procurement and billing activities through administrative processes

Sales and Marketing Operations:

• Develop sales proposals and tender documents

Programme Management Activities:

• Provide administrative support for project management processes
• Estimate resources required for project activities

Customer Service Operations:

• Resolve customer relationship management conflicts
• Analyze customer information to improve relationships and deploy logistics services
• Plan and monitor the delivery of logistics services to meet customer requirements

Logistics Solutioning Services:

• Identify gaps and weaknesses in supply chain operations and propose solutions
• Facilitate the implementation of innovative logistics solutions
• Recommend logistics solutions tailored to customer needs

Technology Application and Integration Activities:

• Stay updated on the latest technology trends relevant to logistics
• Evaluate technology trends for application to business operations
• Facilitate key activities and milestones in technology projects

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Sales & Marketing, or Business
• Strong business acumen with a results-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and focused on achieving goals
• Strong organizational and planning skills
