An Overview
In our Corporate Services department, we provide value and professional services such as bookkeeping, tax, GST, payroll and human resources support.
We are currently looking for an Executive who will be responsible for assigned client portfolio. You will be working together with our Director and guiding our interns to provide accounting and related services to our clients. You will also have the opportunity to work on business advisory projects.
Roles and Responsibilities

Your job role will cover:
- Maintaining a good client relationship with our clients and ensuring on time delivery of services
- Performing accounting, financial reporting, payroll, GST, tax and other corporate services functions for our clients
- Supporting supervisors in liaising with the clients and tasks assigned
- Attending to clients’ accounting / audit queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Guiding interns for delivery of services and problem-solving
- Reviewing deliverables by the interns
- Assisting in ad-hoc business advisory projects (merger & acquisitions, fund raising, business process improvement, business strategies etc)
- Assisting in ad-hoc business development for new and existing clients
REQUIREMENTS
- At least a Diploma in Accountancy or related discipline
- With a minimum of 1-2 years working experience in the areas of accounting and financial
- Audit experience and familiarity with cloud-based software such as Xero and QBO Online will be advantageous
- Experienced in client-facing tasks
- Experienced in preparing full set of accounts
- Experienced in project management; adaptable to change and able to communicate and build rapport with diverse stakeholders (clients, interns, volunteers)
- Proficient and patient in communicating financial principles to stakeholders with no accounting background
- Good interpersonal skills with a positive disposition. Ability to work effectively with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives
- Have a “can-do” spirit and would take initiative to make things happen
- Take responsibilities and ownership for tasks assigned
- Ability to multitask, adaptable to change and handle stress
- Exhibit good ability to work as team
- Generally tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft applications
- Experienced accountants exploring part time arrangement are also encouraged to apply
