Executive Director

Reports to: President and Board of Directors

We are seeking a strategic, compassionate, and values-driven Executive Director to lead the overall operations, governance, programmes, and community impact of a well-established non-profit organisation.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Board to strengthen organisational effectiveness, ensure regulatory compliance, guide staff and volunteers, and build strong partnerships to support long-term sustainability.

Working Conditions

• 5-day work week.
• Required to support weekend, evening, or public holiday events when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall strategy, organisational development, and daily operations.
• Work closely with the Board on governance, policies, planning, Board Meetings, AGMs, reports, and implementation updates.
• Oversee programmes, service delivery, administration, and operational matters.
• Ensure compliance with legal, audit, risk management, safety, PDPA, fire safety, charity, and IPC requirements.
• Manage financial stewardship, budgeting, fundraising, and resource development.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff and volunteers, including succession planning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, members, partners, beneficiaries, and the wider community.
• Enhance organisational effectiveness, outreach efforts, and public profile.
• Represent the organisation at official events, community activities, and stakeholder platforms.

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 10 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in a non-profit, charity, social service, community, or values-driven organisation.
• Strong experience in strategic planning, operations, people management, financial management, and governance.
• Good understanding of Singapore’s charity governance framework.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills.
• High integrity, culturally sensitive, and able to work with diverse communities.
• Passion for community service and meaningful social impact.
