Job Description
Strategic Leadership in Deposits
Provide strategic direction to deposit product managers across markets.
Drive deposit growth, cost optimization, and embed a strong risk culture.
Champion product innovation and suitability to enhance long-term customer franchise value.
Act as a gatekeeper for deposit initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategy, customer experience, and operational readiness.
Regional Strategy & Harmonization
Lead the development and execution of regional deposit strategies.
Harmonize product development across markets, ensuring compliance with both local and group standards.
Oversee regional product shelf management to balance local needs with group strategy.
Drive key regional deposit business and financial metrics to support overall growth.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Channels, TMRW, and GRM.
Establish the right environment and procedures to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Financial Integrity & Franchise Growth
Manage both sides of the balance sheet, focusing on cost of funds (COF) and net interest margin (NIM).
Lead regional portfolio initiatives including cross-sell, upsell, and acquisition strategies.
Promote sticky transactional CASA and drive product acquisition across the region.
Group Deposits Head Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher
More than 15 years of experience in banking or financial services industry, with demonstrated expertise in deposits, product management, and regional strategy
T reasury/balance sheet skillset will be ideal
Proven ability to lead regional harmonization, ensuring strategic alignment, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across jurisdictions.
Strong stakeholder leadership, with demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams including channels, segments, finance, legal, compliance, and technology
Strategic mindset with executional rigor, capable of driving innovation, portfolio optimization, and customer-centric deposit initiatives at scale.
