Global Investment Bank | Private Credit & Structured Financing

Our client, a major global investment bank with a strong footprint across Asia, is seeking a senior leader to oversee Loans Operations for its expanding Private Credit and Structured Finance business. This is a high-impact role where you will partner closely with Front Office teams on complex financing transactions and drive operational excellence across the full trade lifecycle.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the control environment, managing operational risk, and shaping the future operating model of a fast-growing franchise. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced loans operations professional to step into a strategic and front-facing role within a high-performing regional platform.

• Portfolio & Trade Lifecycle Management Monitor transaction pipeline and portfolio activity to anticipate operational demands and capacity needs.
• Review deal documentation and ensure proper system configuration to reflect the correct economic and risk attributes.
• Support additional asset classes handled by the business, including bonds, equity-linked trades, vanilla derivatives, and related credit instruments.

• Risk, Control & Governance Conduct root-cause analysis on operational issues and implement enhancements to strengthen controls and improve productivity.
• Prepare and present risk updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring visibility of key risk indicators and mitigation plans.
• Evaluate new product initiatives and ensure operational readiness, control adequacy, and appropriate governance.
• Process Optimization & Change Initiatives Lead initiatives to automate, streamline, and digitalize processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational risk.
• Leverage data insights to support decision-making, identify bottlenecks, and implement best practices across the function.
• Requirements Minimum 15 years’ experience in Loans Operations or Private Credit Operations within an investment bank or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of syndicated loans, bilateral facilities, agency servicing, and the broader loan product suite.
• Experience leading teams and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and escalate when required.
• Familiarity with trade documentation and market standards (e.g., LMA/APLMA) is advantageous.
• Experience with Loan IQ or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure with a sense of ownership and accountability.
• Broad knowledge of other Global Markets products will be beneficial.
