Executive, Emergency Department Operations

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations in the Emergency Department (ED), comprising the following core functions: 

1. Registration,
2. Admissions and Financial Counselling
3. Appointments Scheduling 
4. Bed Management and
5. Emergency Preparedness

• Manage, engage and motivate a team of frontline Patient Services Associates
• Assist the Assistant Manager/Manager through care transformation and process redesign, encompassing systems innovation and change management
• To support the Department in hospital transformation projects relevant to ED Operations, including infrastructure and IT projects
• To support the Department in leading project management of ED-related projects covering initiation, planning, execution and monitoring of outcomes
• To support the Assistant Manager/Manager in achieving the Department’s goals 
• You will be involved in other special projects and duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in any relevant discipline
• 2 years of working experience (supervisory), preferably in healthcare industry
• Possess leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team
• Self-driven, resourceful and resilient team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong interest in informatics and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
• Candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply
