Executive Engineer (Geotechnical)

There are often significant ground challenges for implementation of infrastructure works (such as underground stations, tunnels, basements, slope stabilisations, etc.) and building works (such as basements, foundations, ground settlements, etc.). We are looking for geotechnical engineers / executive geotechnical engineers / senior geotechnical engineers, who will be involved with the design aspects of these geotechnical works.

Depend on the level of seniority, he/she would be involved with:

• Planning ground investigations and performing ground characterizations thereafter,

• Design concepts for the geotechnical works,

• Carrying out analyses and designs for geotechnical works,

• Carrying out appropriate design of structural nature where required,

• Involving with co-ordinations and communications on the geotechnical works with developers, contractors, authorities as well as with engineers from other engineering disciplines,

• Involving with technical management for carrying out geotechnical design works, among others.

Appropriate guidance (as/when required) and knowledge sharing would be provided to all our engineers.

Requirements:

• Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.

• Prior working experiences in geotechnical engineering projects is preferred.

• Familiar with using geotechnical design software, such as Plaxis, etc. is preferred.

• Familiar with civil/geotechnical engineering designs in local Codes, Regulations and requirements, and Eurocodes.

• Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil and geotechnical works, is preferred.

• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration, is preferred.

• Able to manage projects independently and work under tight datelines.
