Job Des
- Review tender specifications, drawings and sales requirements. Offer solutions in accordance to Schindler’s engineering guidelines (Technical Catalogues, Engineering Centre Instruction, Product Line Manager’s instruction etc)
- Determination of all mechanical components (drives, guides, cables, cars, doors, shaft materials, winches, and so forth) based on disposition and construction preparation plans, bills of materials, sales documentation, and so on.
- Determination of interfaces.
- Creation of order documents.
- Creation of technical documentation for government officials.
- Execution of risk analyses.
- Execution of stability calculations for mechanical components. Establishment and maintenance of suppliers to provide proper local interfaces and associated cost at a competitive level
- Quoting of installation time for special systems in collaboration with the front and suppliers.
- Support and consultation for sales and/or installation in technical and business questions.
- Support related to installation for special systems.
- Coordinate with Group functions/factory for related product lines/engineering solutions
- Generate tender cost from latest estimation tool and indicates comprehensively the basis of cost as well as list of deviations
- Propose Value Engineering solution
- Attend internal tender cost review as and when required
- Attend tender meetings with Sales as and when required
