What a Fab Wet Etch and Wet Clean Process Development Engineer does at HP:

• Develop, optimize, and sustain wet etch and wet clean processes for MEMS fabrication on 8-inch wafers.
• Monitor and analyze process performance using SPC, DOE, and FMEA methodologies.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions to maintain high yield and reliability.
• Collaborate with equipment engineers to ensure tool performance and uptime.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and technology transfer activities.
• Drive new equipment assessment, down selection and setup processes. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cost, cycle time, and process robustness.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including process specifications, control plans, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all wet process operations.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication with a focus on wet etch and wet clean processes.
• Good understanding of semiconductor wet process.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex process issues.
• Good project management skills including timeline and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.
• High degree of interpersonal skills and able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Able to work under tight timeline and fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, including written, presentation, negotiation and influencing.
• Possess good ownership, accountability and with agile mindset in view the work dynamics, Self-motivator and result orientated.
• Good team player
• Able to travel to overseas for business trip.
• Able to work in cleanroom.
