The Role
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Development Director to lead the planning and execution of facility upgrades, that shape the future of our centre, while leading the facilities management team and suppliers in operational readiness and cyclical maintenance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and oversee the strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of all centre development, renovation, and expansion projects.
Plan and manage the full project lifecycle, from concept design to completion, including approvals, procurement, scheduling, and quality assurance.
Be responsible for the preventive maintenance and operational readiness of the centre.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Drive innovation in energy efficiency, smart building systems, sustainability and long-term asset management.
Prepare reports and present progress updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
Build strong working relationships with internal departments (engineering, housekeeping, F&B, operations) to support ongoing maintenance and facility improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in facilities development and management, preferably in the hospitality sector.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Related fields
Green Mark, Fire Safety and Sustainability-related certifications are advantageous
Proven track record in leading teams and managing multiple project stakeholders
Experience in leading facilities management teams and suppliers
Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
Fluent in English

Ready to work flexible hours including weekends, based on the demand of the business
Be physically fit to climb up ladders for inspections of assorted infrastructure and building systems at heights
Strong knowledge of building systems, sustainability practices, and project management tools.
Excellent leadership and verbal & written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment with attention to detail and strategic foresight.
